Enclosed my report with the Fuelsavers, that you can publish gladly.
Here are a few pictures of my vehicle and also two photos of my cockpit and the BMW app for the consumption display over 4 hours from the journey Mainz to Münster (about 320 km) with gradients of approx. 530 meters.
The vehicle is a BMW 420D, SR: 28.03.2014 The standard vehicle has the following additional extras, which are already influencing the fuel consumption. The 19 “rims with 255/35 tires at the rear and 225/35 tires at the front (currently still winter tires). Navigation Professional with ConnectedDrive LED- / Xenon light Leather equipment with sports seats Comfort sunroof and extras
The vehicle has original 184 hp + an additional 51 hp through a chip tuning (Ultimate Race Chip) 235 hp. The Fuelsaver M has been in operation since the end of October 2014. The Fuelsaver has installed at kilometer stand approx. 31000. Chiptuning at 27400 km.
Since I made the measurements in late autumn and at cooler temperatures as well as with winter tires, the consumption values in the summer are probably lower. Now in the spring of warmer temperatures, the consumption values have already fallen.
Now to my experience report:
After installation of the Fuelsavers at the end of October 2014 with the mounting kit in the plastic fuel line (hard plastic) in the under-floor area (supply line) I have noticed for the first kilometers that the Diesel gauge is significantly lower (I guess about 40%). On the first trip, I went from Landau / Pfalz in the direction of Mainz and had despite 40 minutes in the traffic jam (stop and go) and afterward with about 90 km / h with cruise control continued an average consumption of 4.1 liters.
The average consumption before installation of the vehicle was as follows:
For a straight line (80 km / h with cruise control) -> 4.4 liters
For a straight line (90 km / h with cruise control) -> 4.5 liters
For a straight line (100 km / h with cruise control) -> 4.7 liters
With a straight line (180 km / h with cruise control) -> 8.7 liters
At city traffic about 6.7 liters / 100 km / h
After installing the Fuelsavers:
With a straight line (80 km / h with cruise control) -> 3.7 liters – saving: 0.7 liters per 100 kilometers
For a straight line (90 km / h with cruise control) -> 3.8 liters – saving: 0.7 liters per 100 kilometers
With a straight line (100 km / h with cruise control) -> 4.0 liters – saving: 0.7 liters per 100 kilometers
With a straight line (180 km / h with cruise control) -> 5.7 liters – saving: 3 liters per 100 kilometers
For city traffic approx. 5.2 liters / 100 km / h: savings: 1.5 liters
Outside temperature at measurements approx. 5-11 degrees Celsius
A few days ago at 21 degrees, I had a straight line with 80 km / h cruise control a consumption of 3.4 liters.
In the photos was the measurement on a trip from Mainz to Münster. Here it increases to 530 Km, that has occurred twice. Also, there was about 14 km city traffic with it. This is a constant 85 km / h cruise control over the entire route, up to the city traffic and the construction site restrictions on the route (about 15 km plug) at 60 km / h.
